Sometimes I think I need an assistant, someone I can rely on to help me take a decent photo.
I can spend AGES taking photos.
Maybe even more time than I spend on actually making some of the things I do!
I think this was pic number 40.......
Maybe I should use some knitting needles like this pro.......

Use your SPORT setting or MOTION... this will help. I get the shakes terrible with flares and I must set it to these settings. The pictures come out nicely. Your lighting is GREAT.
love your dolls.
I find the hardest thing is to get the lighting right so that the colours actually match the object that I'm photographing.
I also find that I need to be in the right frame of mind because it's something that I don't enjoy.
Love it.....real action shot!!!
sympathise with you on this one, photography is not as easy at looks and I have one of those 'idiot proof' cameras! What does that say about me ;o)
Gonna try the tip from A Stitch in Time xx
I think most of us relate to this Kathryn. I know I delete more photos than I use... LOL

All I can say is thank goodness for the delete button on our digital cameras. It has to be the most used button on my camera

Another blogger put me onto Picnik.com, I use it for all my photos now, they look much better!
Hee,hee...
Thank goodness it is digital and not roll film though!
Picnik and zoom browser and Picassa are all there for Many of us as We all suffer very much the same foes:)
I think we crafty bloggers are all the same, Kathryn... and have you ever seen how many shots a professional photographer takes?? We have NOTHING on them!
But when you get them right, the pics are lovely :-)
Your beautiful things are worth the effort . Thank goodness for digital cameras .
Darn it........those little gals are sooooo cute! Great post.
Warm blessings,
Spencer
Your beautiful things!!!just beautiful!
xoxo
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh ha ha ha! I take soooo many too! And something with fur is usually the reason why things are falling over...or just plain falling!
Your quilt is gorgeous too!
m ^..^
HA ha ha ha ha! That is really funny! I take a jillion photos, too! I don't have problems with things falling over because they're already laying DOWN, but my shadow will get in the way or a hair will fall out of my head and onto the piece....ewwwww! Not very photogenic! Hair is attractive on one's head ONLY! LOL!
Hi Kathryn,
My husband bought me a tripod. It it wonderful, can be adjusted up, down, angles, on uneven surfaces & the best part is not as many 'action shots'! Mine was from Dick Smith's & was about $50, small price for better pictures!
Your pictures are great, keep up the good work.

Hi Kathryn I know how you feel I have that same problem especially when there is not enough light lots of blurry photos. Good luck. Carol
I like your cushion, that is something amazing. Like to read your webblog also.
Greetings Pieternel

Funnily enough, is precisely what I blogged about the time before last. I've realised that I rush my photography too much, and am trying to think it through better. Saying that - your photo's always look good to me!
Kim xx
