A Cushie Job...

It's not really a cushie job, it's actually a really fiddley one, but worth it in the end.
And, I seem to have done this........ quite a lot during the process.
Apologies if you are squeamish! I've been making a few cushions over the last few days.
I had a custom order for this one....
House Inc. Stella and Eden fabrics...
So, I thought I'd do a few more.
The ruffles are so time consuming (I don't have a ruffle foot on my machine) but so pretty in the end.
I've used Rachel Ashwell's Wildflower, Cabana Stripe and Ribbons & Roses. All are discontinued now and will be very hard to find soon. Good job I have a good stash of them!
More House Inc. fabrics. They are all so soft and femine.
I think one, or two, may not make it to the shop!

  7. I love those pillows. I used to say that I didn't just sew for my grands with love, but with blood as well. I've had to blot out a drop of blood from lots of my creations.

  9. Ah, that little pinprick is a familiar sight, the challenge is to not get any blood on the fabric!
