I thought they were going to kill one another yesterday!
So, the thought of homemade donuts, hit the spot.
I was a bit sceptical as to how good they would be. Would they be as nice as "Donut King"?
"Yes"they were!
Amazingly, they even had similar crunch on the outside without the fat!
Now, that's always a good thing - especially after Christmas!
Hubs suggested we call them "O-nuts". We always give things an "O" twist because of our surname!
"McMuffins" become "O-muffins" when we do them at home etc... Following on from yesterdays post....this boring lampshade became this
How are you occupying the holidays?

Hi Kathryn, those doughnuts look so yummy! Might have to get one of those machines, they have a machine for everything now don't they! The lampshade looks great too, am still deciding on how to decorate James' room. It's a typical boys room with cars etc. Might go gingham for just a touch of country. will see.. take care, Maryann
I'm not on holidays, I've finished it at 4 of this month.Snif,snif...
But I'm delited with your o-nuts machine. Amazing!
Where we don't foud anything like that.
And congratulations, the lamp is very nice, well done!:)
Hi Kathryn, I am on holidays and I have two boys..I know what you mean when you say "I thought they were going to kill each other". It is better now that they are older 15 & 12, but I remember those days. We have lego in our house and I used to have to sit down for a good bit of the day and build with them, let them build cubbies inside (ohhh), having pets was a help, they can help with that and going to the park or swimming pool. They would swim so much that in the afternoon all the swimming would knock them out. Love the donuts, yummy. Kind regards, Anita
Well.... I know now how we are spending the rest of the holidays. My children have just read this post over my shoulder and are demanding we get one of these 'o' nut makers too.
I hope they are fat free - I don't think I can refuse a freshly made donut - LOL

My Hubby Got the donut maker we have 2yearsago for Dads day and they are delicious!
Messy and time consuming with three helpers but Yum!
I am still busy with the revolving door of visitors....
We got that maker too! But boy all that effort!! I get too stressed in the kitchen :) Think I will just stick to buying them haha!!
Oh dear... I feel a visit to the Sunbeam Factory shop coming on!
So, that donut maker makes one donut at a time??? Oh, that is PERFECT! Wait...no, it's not...it's NOT perfect and DONUT need it! LOL!
Cute lampshade. I want to do some cute lampshades with fabric and tatting and teardrop beads hanging down and stuff.
Look very tasty these O-nuts!
My teenage-boys would have denied to even touch the dounutmaker because of its "unmasculine" colour. (And of course there would have to be other themes on an lampshape... :-( Times change so quickly.
Have a lovely holiday !

I love that fabric - I'm thinking about ordering it to make a toss pillow for my son-in-law.
The O-nuts looks so yummy! That donut maker macine looks pretty neat too!
....what are you like at entertaining small girls? I reckon o-nuts would work a treat here, too.
