A little two faced....

These sweeties are an idea my hubby had - double sided Matryoshkas.
(or "Two Faced you know what's" is what he suggested. How vulgar for something so sweet!)
Anyway, I must say, he does come up with some good ideas...we know him as the "Ideas Man" in our household....I think he really should have been an inventor but that's another story...
So, on one side we will have "awake" and on the other side "asleep".
I am going to make little mini quilts to go with them....maybe a pillow....maybe a....

Double the fun, double the imagination, double the delight....

Right, get cracking and sew them up.....

P.S. I finshed the binding on the quilt last night, just the tag to go then I'll show you......

And..double congratulations. They are just the cutest with the two faces. Isn't it funny how sometimes the simplest and most obvious ideas are the winners!! Good on hubby for his creative input.

Oh That really is the sweetest!
I had a doll as a child where one part was awake and if you turned her upside down and flipped her skirt the underneath doll was asleep!
Now that does sound Vulgar!!
lol!
Everything is looking pretty

How Lovely. Double pretties! My Special Man doesn't say a lot, he's a thinker but occasionally he shocks me with some great ideas (soooooo much better than mine but don't tell him I said so)! xx

These dolls are so cute, I am sorry I don't have a daughter to give one of them too. I do admire people who can sew I'm told it's not hard but I don't seem to be able to get the lines straight. Oh well good on you for being so clever, keep up the good work.
