Yes, I am still here! But I have been up here a lot lately.
The plasterers come next week and we have had lots of little jobs to do. I was installing acoustic insulation in some parts of the house today. I would not wish this job on anyone. It was awful and I'm so glad I will never have to do it again. If I did have to do it again, I would stamp my feet and yell "I don't want to" very loudly.
On a more exciting note this is one part of my new wardrobe for the sewing room. I had it made to my measurements so that this part will hold two widths of fabric!!!!

And so, the excitment begineth for me!!!
Thank you to all those lovely people who left get well messages for me on my last post.
See you soon, hopefully sooner than last time!
Kathryn.

Lucky you Kathryn!! It's looking great
This will be awsome! Have a great day! Blessings, Faye
Think of the new cupboards as a reward for installing the insulation !! Your house is really coming along now ,great to see you're feeling a bit better .
I will be going through this until next summer I believe. But I have to keep the end picture in mind. My sewing room will be done to my specs for how I work throughout the day. Nothing aggitates me more than a mess around my work area. I can feel your excitement level amping up now. How fun! Don't forget to take breaks and sew!! Hugs. Tammy
Your sewing room is going to be fabulous! I'm sure the whole family is getting more excited and more anxious by the minute!
Hang in there Kathryn!!
Oh to build a sewing room from scratch! What a dream!
Oh yeah... now it is getting exciting. Nothing better than a purpose built craft room!!

Glad you are feeling better. The house is really coming along great. Hope you will be able to move is soon. How exciting!
At least one thing with building a house and having to put up with all the muddle, is you can plan and build your own craft/sewing/studio room.
Enjoy.
Hugs,
Anna

Hey Kathryn,
Glad you're feeling a bit better. Nothing like a new sewing room to pick you up:)))) Wait until the sewing machine goes in - then you'll be excited:)))) The house is looking really good - I have a look each night when I drive home. Can only see the back from the highway but it's still looking good!!!
Talk to you Soon,
