Amongst it all.....

Amongst all the packing, organising, visitors (here on the weekend to help at the house and for Master 8's confirmation at church), I managed to get this order for a pretty cushion finished.
It was the first time I had touched the poor sewing machine in 8 days! Withdrawals or what!
It is very similar to this one.
And here is Master 8 on his Confirmation day on Sunday.
He read one "prayer of the faithful" in front of the whole congregation of over 100.
His Mummy couldn't even do that without having palpitations and going all red faced....
So proud.
Then we all went out for a delicious lunch. It was a great day.

Oh how sweet for your son!! I still remember my communion like it was yesterday and that was... ahem..... oh only 20 years ago *wink* don't tell anyone you'd have to add another 20... yikes.

I am so looking forward to seeing your pictures of your new home. I can't wait. Especially your new creative space. How fun this will be. Don't forget to put your feet up once in a while to take some "me time".... Love your pillow.

May your son walk forth in his life with pride in this religious step of confirmation. I recall my confirmation day well.

Your pillow creation is gorgeous, a step above others. It is so romantically feminine & chic.

Have a lovely week. TTFN ~ Marydon

Congratulations young man! I must organise my son's confirmation too, he's had his first holy communion. Is that church in Buninyong? It looks like the one where one of my daughters was baptised.
