Exhaustion......

It has been all hands on deck at the new house this past week. With only 3 weeks to go until we move in, we have had to inlist a few helpers! My Dad has been staying with us to do the architraves and skirting boards as well as installing doors and a few locks. I have been painting walls and a couple of doors, puttying nail holes, sweeping up plaster dust, and generally being helper to Dad. Our garage door has been installed, the stairs put in, part of the wood heater installed, one side fence, and painting has begun thanks to our friend, Wally, who kindly said he'd spray the house for us. We just have to do the top coat on the walls. How great is that?
This post is a real effort to do.
I ache. I want to go to bed now and it's only 5.30!!!
But, physical exhaustion is the best kind to have when you know a new home is on the horizon.

I can relate! Have done the same to a couple of homes we've lived in, and one we haven't! All worth it in the end, though. Can't wait to see more pics.
