Happy Holidays folks!!!

Just popping in quickly to say "Happy Christmas" to you all and may 2010 be a wonderful year for everyone.
We are spending our first Christmas in our new home with my parents and my Grandmother. It will be the first time my Grandmother, or Granky as we call her, will have seen the house. She turned 89 last Sunday and she still drives, lives at home and has a bigger social life than we do!
I've been "checking the list" off gradually today - the silver is polished, the crockery washed and ready, and the ham has been cooked. I really wish I could tuck into it today it smells so YUMMY!!!
I shall leave you with some pics from around the house.
The boys did the paper chains and most of the decorating.
My Dad made the Nativity scene a few years ago and it takes pride of place.
I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year.
See you all again soon.
Love, Kathryn. XX

Hello! I came back over to say hello again and thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. I also appreciate your telling me that my blog freezes on you. I am so sorry about that. Out of curiosity I am wondering if you are using IE or Firefox. I just ask because a ton of blogs were freezing on me when I used IE and once I switched to firefox I haven't had that problem. It is just a thought...and firefox is free and my computer has been running much smoother since the switch.

I don't know if that helps are not but I'll look and see what may be the problem. Thank you, again, for telling me.

(((Hugs))) and a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy Granky and your parents in your first Christmas in your new home. Your Grandma sounds like someone I'd like to be like when I'm her age!

Kathryn, I hope your Christmas was very merry and I hope your New Year is full of joy!!

I watched fireworks in Sydney (on TV) before I left for work today. It looked like it was a spectacular display!

I hope you're enjoying settling into that new home and finding time to create too!

Oh yes - I found the special gift I bought for you. I'll be mailing it soon...hopefully I haven't misplaced your new address. That would be so like me!

Hugs to you!
