I'm NOT a model, you'll know what I mean......

....when you look at these photos!!!
HA!!
Stand up straight and suck that tummy in!
Well, I have had two kids.
So, obviously this is the "rebel" skirt I was telling you about.
The one with the outside zipper. It doesn't look overly messy and inside out does it? I love the buttons; they are metal with a slightly celtic pattern on them. Maybe I could do an Irish jig?
Now this would never do in a photo shoot, see the white thread hanging off my leg?
I'm sure I'm not on my own here, am I girls? I often get strange looks when I go to the shops and I realise I'm covered in threads!
Back view.
Perhaps I can blame the photographer for not making me look like a model?

It's great Kathryn! Love the exposed zipper. And I think that you DO look like a model! Oh, for a waistline that small...

That exposed zipper is fabulous. It looks all modern and designery like it could be on Project Runway. You go girl!
PS - I know exactly what you mean about the threads, especially when wearing dark grey or black!

Very Project Runway! I love it, very elegant and who would be a model anyway - surviving on 3 grapes and a glass of water is not living!

As for threads, I get looks when I go out after hand sewing and realised I have a threaded needle stuck in my shirt ready to keep sewing with!

I love your skirt, the exposed zip is a great idea, looks fantastic. I'm hearing you about threads, I work in a fabric store and it's quite embarrassing when you get home and notice a trail of threads on you after you've walked through the city and caught a bus home!!!!

Nothing wrong with that waistline, Kathryn.

Threads? Yep. They're a constant part of my wardrobe. And I've even worn my wrist pin-cushion shopping.

Love the exposed zip! inserting zips was always my downfall, this would be a perfect way for me to use them, :)

It's kind of a mixed messages skirt -- very ladylike but with the rakish, flirty zipper on the outside. Very cute!
