Stripping is really tough.....

Lavender that is!
I have had this lavender for about 10 months just sitting there waiting for me to strip it. The last lot I did (which I had run out of) took forever to do and my hands were a bit sore after it. Anyway, I bit the bullet and stripped last week! The end result was worth it. The lavender was from Kylie's place, she has a beautiful lavender hedge row and it smells so sweet. I'm not sure what variety it is?
And these lavender strawberries were made after all the effort!
They are, completely, filled with 1 cup lavender.
They will be for sale at the Buninyong Makers Market this Saturday.

It is a tough job Kathryn but well worth it. Your lavender strawberries are decorated so beautifully. Hope you have a very successful day at the market.

I love those! They are just perfect! They are lavender...strawberries and pink and looking Victorian...just everything that I love! Oh, I should learn how to make some and top them with tatting! Would you do a tutorial on them? PLEASE? OH PLEASE!?!

Oh, thanks for stopping by my blog today! It made my day! :D

Great stripping. I've some drying and I'm eagerly anticipating my first chance to strip too. Have a more simpler project I want to do. Your bags are gorgeous. Wish I was closer to check out your markets. Have a great weekend! Sonia x
