In 'My Creative Space' today I am making a few more of these 'Mother and Child Matryoshka' sets.
Yesterday, I received an email from a lady who has just had a little baby girl and she is Matryoshka mad, a bit like me! She was after a 'Mother and Child' set and this is how they turned out, cute huh?
So, why didn't I think of that before???

idea! I would love to see someone who still sews the dolls that had a long dress and you turned them upside down to reveal a different dress and sleeping doll and the other way awake and different material dress1 I had one as a id and thought it was awesome

Isn't it funny how sometimes we miss the obvious. I know many of my designs have developed from a customers request or comment... soemtiems just some tweaking like this with the dolls.

Hi there, I am the one who requested these dolls, and I recieved them yesterday. They are so cute, thank you so much! I have a 7 year old son, and now a 5 month old daughter, so I am so excited to be buying the girly things I love! Another question, have you ever thought of making boybushkas? Hehe.
I love them also, wish they were around when my children were little. No matter, I can spoil the grandies instead. I wish you had a pattern for them.
