How wonderful is the land of BLOG?
Well, when I arrived home on New Years Day, I had a package waiting for me. I knew that something was on it's way from Marie but I had no idea that it would be such a surprise and such a large package!!
I thought she was just sending me a Christmas card!!
Yes, there was a card, lovingly written I might add, and MANY other wonderful treats......
....all wrapped and addressed to all members of my family.....
3 Beautiful rose scented candles on a pretty little dish that belonged to Marie's Mother in Law, some Christmas Tree ornaments (I love the way the bells sound when jingled!!) , some really yummy Chocolates - notice how most are missing......
...a beautiful embroidered hanky, the lovely card and a gorgeous pink and green (my favourite) duchess set.
BUT.......the piece de résistance was this....
A BEAUTIFUL Matryoshka Christmas bauble, wrapped in part of an old quilt. This si so special and I love it.Marie said as soon as she saw it, she knew it had to be mine!! She was right!!!
I was totally speechless, gobsmacked and just totally amazed that this kind lady had thought of me and my family. I have enjoyed reading her blog (from Maryland) which is full of family, memories and faith. She is a true diamond to blog land.
Marie, you know how much I loved receiving this package and all the beautiful things inside it.
