Pretty velvet.......

Here's what I did yesterday with 15 minutes to spare before I picked the children up from School . It was so simple and quick to make!
I love quick projects and this was no exception.
I can see it teamed with a pretty cream lace top and some more bling!
What do you think?
Quickie today - hope everyone is well?

Roses and Buttons, Pendants and Bracelets

This is what kept me very occupied on the weekend.
Between a very grumpy master 7
(it turns out he has been having "friend" trouble at school. I spent lots of last night awake thinking about him poor boy. He bottles things up and then behaves so badly.. then after you push him to open up it all seems better somehow. Isn't that the truth for all of us?)
and a very tired and whiney master 5, I tuned out and went creative with these gorgeous pendants and bracelets. Well, I think they are gorgeous even if no-one else does! You all should know that I LOVE vintage carved Mother of Pearl buttons and I love roses too, so this was the perfect combination. It's a wonder I hadn't thought of doing these before now.

The cuff bracelets turned out really well. I think I am going to keep one for myself. The others will be added to Etsy and OurShabbyCottage.

Some more Cath Kidston fabric reversible totes are finished and will be added somewhere soon...
That's all folks!
